How can I start a chapter?
We're so excited that you are interested in starting a new chapter. Please reach out to us via email at hello@wibcollective.org with your interest, full school name in the subject line! The first steps start with applying to start a student organization at your college. Those forms can be found on your college’s Student Organization portal. Once your college approves the application, we will work closely with you to successfully launch your school’s chapter.
How can I make the existing Women in Business org at my college become nationally recognized with WIB Collective?
Please fill out the form HERE and/or contact hello@wibcollective.org! We have prepared all the steps and a guidebook to make the process of transitioning your college-established Women in Business organization to become a nationally recognized chapter under WIB Collective.
How often do you meet?
Meetings and events vary per chapter, but you can expect to have at least one event per week!
Do you need Business Experience?
Nope! One of Women in Business Collectives’ main focuses is to serve as a “Business Starter Kit.” We aim to make everyone's introduction to business as simple as possible and provide you with all the resources needed to hit the ground running.
Do you have to be a Business Major?
All students are welcomed to join, despite your major! You can be an Engineering Major or Nursing student...trust us, you won’t regret it!
What if I am not a student?
Memberships are available to purchase for anyone, despite if you are a student or not. We have affiliated chapters that our members are associated with/apart of, however you are able to purchase the membership without joining the chapter. When purchasing a membership you get a personal account login which gives you access to our exclusive Women in Business Collective network, resources, discounts, and events.
If I am not a student, but get a membership, can I still attend events?
At this time, our events are closed to our college chapters. We are working on events that are collaborative with local chapters, and it will be open to members that do not attend that college. Further, you can expect community events that all members are invited to attend! These will be hosted off of college campuses. Stay tuned for more information!
